Blaine Dahlman-Oeth is a Potter based in Olympia, Washington.

Blaine started pottery in 2024 at the Evergreen State College at the recommendation of a friend. With zero prior art experience, he took his first class and fell in love with the medium. Since 2024 Blaine has been refining his skills as an artist, mainly focusing on wheel throwing functional vessels for everyday use.

Influenced by his previous horticulture education, his work reflects his love for nature and gardening. In particular Blaine finds inspiration from traditional Japanese gardening. His work focuses on appreciating the balance between careful and intentional design and the acceptance of unpredictability and imperfection.

Blaine is currently working towards launching his first full tableware collection that will be released in 2027. Updates will be posted on his Instagram.
